The mens NLA team plays against HC Rychenberg Winterthur on Saturday and on Sunday they’ll play at home against Chur Unihockey. Two intense days for the last team of the league.

The last played game against UHC Grünenmatt didn’t please Fabian Arvidsson. After just 20 minutes the team was four goals behind and the defeat was clear. Not just the defeat against UHC Grünenmatt hurt, also the second to last team of the league UHC Thun managed to win. This meant the UHC WaSa will lose its 11th place. WaSa-forword Andrin Zellweger quotes: «Yes, it wasn’t easy after the game, but we want to show reaction on next Saturdays game.

Two new players
The injury list of WaSa was quite large in the last couple of weeks. The WaSa-management decided to sign two new players for the club. Dominik Langenegger and Lukas Sutter signed a contract with the UHC Waldkirch-St.Gallen. Langenegger comes over from the 3rd league team UHC Elgg. The 24 year old had to pause because of his long-term injuries. Also Lukas Sutter played for a 3rd league club, UH Appenzell. The 22 year old is training with the NLA team since the beginning of the season and is now allowed to play for his new colours.

Slipped away
The Winterthurer lost their last game after a five goal lead. They lost 8:7 after the Overtime. In the last game against the UHC Waldkirch-St.Gallen the team from Winterthur won by just one goal and this just in the first minute of the overtime.

Home game against Chur
In the first clash against the Bündner team Fabian Arvidsson team managed to keep the game open as long as the final minute. The winning goal was shot in the last minute of the game. Not only the UHC Waldkirch-St.Gallen had to get over a rout also Chur was beaten high. Against SV Wiler-Ersigen the team from Berger lost 10:3.

The stake from Roman Mittelholzer and Stefan Meier ist due to injury problems uncertain.
